The Golden Art of Brazil

From the heart of the Brazilian Cerrado comes capim dourado, a naturally golden plant fiber transformed into beautiful handcrafted creations.

Inspired by the legacy of Dona Miúda and generations of skilled artisans, this tradition celebrates the beauty of nature, the dignity of craftsmanship and the cultural heritage of an extraordinary community.

In the Jalapão region of Tocantins, Brazil, Dona Miúda helped transform the ancestral knowledge of a quilombola community into a source of livelihood, identity and pride for generations of families.

Every harvest reflects a commitment to nature. Seeds are returned to the earth so life can continue. Using buriti fibers, thread by thread, skilled hands transform golden stems into pieces that embody patience, knowledge and respect for the land.

Behind every creation lies much more than beauty. There are families, traditions and a living economy that recognizes the value of the earth and the hands that work with it.

Craftsmanship

I call it botanical gold.

Gold that is not extracted from the earth, but grows from it.

Because true luxury also lies in what we choose to respect and preserve.
